In light of the new SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE, I am writing about a Mario video game. SUPER MARIO ODYSSEY is possibly the greatest game of all time. It is a nice combination of all Mario games, even adding more content. The story begins with Bowser and Mario fighting above Peach's castle. Mario ends up losing the fight but befriends a top hat from the CAP KINGDOM named Cappy; whose sister, Taira was taken by Bowser. Together they attempt to climb a tower connected to the next Kingdom. Atop the tower you defeat your first Boss Villain and journey to the next Kingdom. When you reach it, you fight a new Boss to obtain the fuel to an airship: the Odyssey. In it you travel to a variety of Kingdoms. In the last you confront Bowser, which when he is defeated becomes trapped on the moon. The biggest surprise is after the credits when Mario and Cappy continue to explore; even to the moon...
If you want a less complicated game, SUPER MARIO BROS. 3 is a must have. The game does not really have a story since you can simply warp to the last World. The game really is for everyone; beginners can go through WORLD-1 with minimal difficulty, advanced players can warp to a challenging WORLD for real difficulty. With 58 villains, 8 Bosses (Larry, Morton, Wendy, Iggy, Ludwig, Roy, Lemmy, and Bowser), and a constantly reoccurring Mini Boss (Boom Boom), this game is the full package.
