In Safety Harbor, local people have been hearing unusual noises in the evening. It is a mystery that has had neighbors wondering what it could be. The noise was consistently echoing through the streets shortly after dusk. Many times, a second sound could be heard off in the distance, as if answering itself. But now the mystery has been solved. The weird noise that confused residents for so long ended up being an owl. Pinnellas County has a lot of people seeing them including me. I saw two owls sitting on a pole searching for prey.
