At Blessed Sacrament Catholic School, there are a ton of sports to enjoy. These sports include: cheerleading, basketball, volleyball, soccer, track and field, and flag football. Having sports at your school is a great way to learn new hobbies, and get you out of your comfort zone. Participating in sports is also a way to reveal new opportunities that could be amazing in the future. For example, if you are interested in football, but you are too nervous to do football in high school, you could lose out on a scholarship, or even a chance to be seen by a scout that could possibly lead you to the NFL! Although sports can lead you to something good in the future, there are also more character building qualities you can gain. These qualities include teamwork, friendship, self discipline, social skills and more! These qualities are an important part of life. In addition, through sports you can do something you enjoy while developing these qualities. To sum it up, sports are important in many different ways.
