Chapter One
The Truth....
15-year-old Cynthia Fae figures out some troubling news for her. While trying to look for an old photo of her family in the attic she finds a paper that was peeking out under a box. She pulled it out from under the box and went down the ladder from the attic and ran downstairs to her dad and asked him this, "dad what is this paper with an odd symbol on it?" Her dad looked at her and grabbed the paper. Once he looked at it, he had a shocked look on his face. He said something under his breath. "Well, it's exactly what you say it looks like, it's a paper with an odd symbol on it." Cynthia nodded in a confused way and snatched the paper carefully with swift hands. She ran upstairs to her room. She opened the door and sprinted to her desk and opened her computer while sitting down. When she opened it, she logged in and then went to Chrome search bar to search up some stuff about the symbol on the paper. When she took a photo of it, she put the photo into the image search area, and she scrolled through the results. When she found a trusted website, she clicked on it and read through the paragraphs. She found something that said that it was a symbol of the Goddess Athena. She couldn't believe what she saw when she found out what it meant. She unplugged her computer and ran downstairs with the paper and her computer in hand. She ran all the way down to the kitchen where her father still stood. She scrambled to put down her computer and once she did, she yelled out to her dad, "WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?" She turned the computer to face her dad and her dad looked through the article. He had a shocked expression on his face and opened his mouth to speak but didn't say anything. He looked down and then searched for something. "What are you looking for?" asked Cynthia. Her dad looked at her and said, "I'm searching for your birth certificate, I have something to show you." She turned her computer back to her and thought for a second. She had an idea and looked back up at her dad who was now in the living room searching. She walked over and said what she's been wanting to tell her dad, "Am I a Demi-God? Or like a part of a Demi-God chain?" Cynthia's dad sighed and turned towards her. He put a hand on her shoulder. "I was hoping we could discuss this matter at a different time. But I guess we can do it now since you already know." He took the paper and explained how she was the Demi-Goddess of Athena, and he was trying to hide it. He told her to tell nobody about this unless they are close relatives. After that she took her computer and the paper and went upstairs to research some more. Soon she fell asleep while searching up more about the Gods and learning about Athena.
