Meeting My Role Model
I was at swimming championships, nervous before my race and I was trying to get confident or hyped up. I was talking to my coach about what I was going to do in my race until.... I spotted KATIE LEDECKY!!! I ran to her and almost started crying with happiness because my dream since I was 6 came true. I have been wanting to see her since I started swimming because, we have the same favorite stroke. She's my role model for swimming and is super kind. I want to go to the Olympics just like her. I loved meeting her and hopefully I can retrace her steps.
