I started playing baseball three weeks after my 4th birthday. First, I played t-ball with the Cal Ripken league and made the Cal Ripken t-ball All Stars team. Our team traveled all over Florida and made it to the state championship. When I was six years old, I was selected to play on a competitive travel ball team. This was a team for eight-year-olds, but the coaches felt i had enough natural talent to play with the older players. I have continued to advance in baseball, and I love the game. My primary position is behind the plate as a catcher, however, I also play middle infielder, and I pitch. I am told I have very high "baseball IQ, ‘’ and this gives me advantage over older players. I am now on several national showcase teams and receive invitations from all over the country to guest play in national tournaments. I hope to continue to advance in baseball through high school and college. But my dream is to be drafted into the pros right after high school and play on the same team as my cousin, Satchel Norman, who plays for the Milwaukee Brewers.
