To begin with, I got my cat, Zoey, on April 30th. We got her from the Sarasota Humane Center. She had been rescued after what they thought was her getting hit by a car. She had to undergo surgery to keep her alive, and it was a success! She was in a little room, but then they took her and us to a bigger room to introduce her to us. She started to hide, but then she got more comfortable, so we took her home. The first 3 days with her she hid under the bed and would only come out to eat, sleep, and use the litter box. On the 4th, 5th, and 6th day with her, she started to come out more and would sometimes jump on my bed and sniff me. We got her some toys to play with when we left the house, so she didn’t get bored. She loves my mom and I the most, and she is starting to like my dad. I am so glad we got her, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. That is why I decided to write my paragraph on her.
