Many people have been wondering if Aaron Rodgers would retire, stay with the Packers, or go to the Jets. He said himself, "When I came out of the darkness, something changed. I realized there had been a little bit of a shift. The Packers were interested in trading me. When I went in the darkness, I was 90% retired -- 10% playing." So with that 10% of energy left, he decided to go to the Jets and give Jordan Love a chance to get some glory with the Packers. As a part of this move, Rodgers made a wish list that included everything he wanted to happen when he joined the Jets. His first wish was that his old wide receiver, Alan Lazard, would get a four-year deal, which he did. The second wish was that Randall Cobb would also join the team. For Rodgers fourth wish, he wants another one of his old colleagues, Mercedes’ Lewis, to join the roster. Rodgers decided for his final wish that he wanted to play with someone new that he could make good memories with, Odell Beckham Jr. Only time will tell if this legend of an NFL player made the right decision and will achieve all that he has asked for.
