Being the youngest child is a big struggle for many kids in the United States of America. I myself am the youngest child, and it is very hard for me. I always get teased by my older brother and when I try to fight back, I am the only one my parents hear, so I get in trouble. My brother gets away with everything! Also, the baby of the family gets less privileges because their siblings are older. When younger children don’t get the things their siblings do, their parents say, “They are older then you.” This is very annoying to me because my sister is only one year older than me, and she always gets more. OLDER CHILDREN ALWAYS THINK THE YOUNGEST ONE GETS AWAY WITH EVERYTHING, BUT WE DON’T. Parents, I propose that younger siblings get more privileges. We learn from the mistakes that our older siblings make, and we can handle the responsibility. Trust the baby of the family!
