It was Saturday afternoon, and it was the last inning, and my team was at bat. I was up, and it was full count, the pitcher came set, and then he threw the ball, and it was a perfect pitch, so I swung. Once I swung, I heard a crack in the bat, so I did not hesitate to run. Once I ran the next thing I knew, I was on third base. But there were bases loaded, so all my teammates scored. But we needed one more run to tie it up. The pitcher threw the ball, but it went past the catcher. My dad told me to run so I did. If I scored it would be the tying run. I ran like the wind and felt the wind flying in my face. But when that happened, I slid at home and the umpire said that I was safe. My brother then made the winning run. Right after I scored, all I heard was the crowd going crazy. After the game when we were doing our pep talk, the coaches said that everybody did well because of the win.
