Do you play video games? I personally play them all the time and I’d like to discuss some of them. The good and the bad. (DISCLAIMER: This article is going to be based on my opinion.)

First, I want to start with one of my favorite games. Super Mario 3d World + Bowsers Fury. When I first started the game, I noticed that there were two games to pick from. I was specifically excited about Bowser’s Fury. I chose Bowser’s Fury and went on. When I started the game, I was in a cutscene with Mario walking down the Mushroom Kingdom, when suddenly he noticed that there were a few drops of black paint on the ground. He kept walking and then he saw even more. He started running to see what the source of this weird paint was. He suddenly found himself falling into the pool of paint. (Pretty weird, right?) So, then he was on this weird island with dinosaur prints that looked ancient. Only then you see a big, huge figure, who looks like he’s about to do some SERIOUS damage. While you’re on this abandoned ship, you’ll notice that this huge figure is about to fire something at you. You better start running faster, because a huge laser starts to come straight for you! Then, when you get a good look at the dark figure, you realize it’s none other than the horrible villain, Bowser! (Hence the name Bowser’s Fury). You might recognize him from past games, like the original retro Super Mario Bros. He kidnaps princesses and Mario always has to save them, but Mario has never seen Bowser out of control and corrupted like this. (Insert menacing music). As you keep running from this beast, you find a very big, shiny, cat looking sphere. You jump up to grab it and once the victory cutscene is over, you notice that there’s a lighthouse that shines. All the light that comes from the lighthouse annoys Bowser, and he hides in the black goo that he originated from. Bye bye Bowser.

The rest of the game goes the same except the power ups in this game are probably my favorite out of any Mario game. First, there's the classic Mushroom. Now, this power-up only works if you’re tiny Mario, so this is a last resort power-up. Now these next two power-ups are almost the exact same, except only one comes back at you and one has been across the games for years. The classic Fireball power-up and sort of useless Boomerang power-up are the two that I'm talking about. These two power-ups are both for long range attacks and are useful if you are fighting fire koopas or magikoopas. Then, there’s a power-up that I’m going to try but probably fail to explain. According to my resources, it’s called the super leaf. Trust me, the next two power ups after this one are cooler. This “Super Leaf” makes Mario float and spin to attack. This is only good if you want to float over enemies, but I don’t recommend using this for attack. Next, we have the Super Bell. This one is my second favorite, because it makes the game look very original, and it makes Mario look like a cat. This one is good because it lets Mario dive and leap. It's attack is clean and fast. Also, the whole game is based on cats. These next two are a bonus, because I want to save the best for last. The next one I’m going to talk about is the Lucky Bell. This power up is useful if you’re low on coins. This power up lets you collect coins if you ground pound, and only really works if you’re up high, like at the top of the mountain Mount Magmeow. Lastly, the next one we have is better than all the ones we’ve reviewed (so far). It’s called the Invincibility Leaf. It’s like the Super Leaf, but WAY better. It has the same features as the Super Leaf, but this one makes you invincible. This power up is available in Super Mario 3d World too, but you must die 5 times. There’s no shame in getting a little help, am I right!?!

So, that’s the end of my newspaper article. Thank you for your time (and respecting my opinions).
