5th Grade Students go to Holocaust Museum
On April 18th, Mrs. Coles and Mrs. Mosall’s class went to the Florida Holocaust Museum to learn more about the horrific event. They did an excellent job answering the questions they got asked, due to what their great teachers taught them (Thank you!) They got to see photos of real Holocaust survivors, and even got to virtually meet one to ask him questions. The museum had many places to explore, there was even a part of The Kinder Transport train! There were real parts of the different items that people had during the event like dolls, handkerchiefs, violins, and other things, too.
Although the event is sad, the museum was amazing, and a good way to honor all the people who have unfortunately passed away in the Holocaust.
