If you've already read the title, you might think I'm wrong about Pythons being great pets, but here are 5 reasons why they are!
1. If you ever wanted a snake, a python is your best choice when you're a beginner because they are easy to take care of.
2. You can leave them alone without food for 6 weeks, but I advise only 1-3 weeks so they don't get aggressive.
3. They live up to 22+ years, so you will never be lonely for a very long time!
4. They only need to be fed on an average of 1 day per week, but you'll need to feed them live rats or rabbits depending on size.
5. They are very chill snakes, so when you hold them, they aren't jumpy, don't strike, and usually don't move unless they find a warm spot.
