Beaver Creek is a huge and beautiful ski resort located in Colorado. A lot of people from St.Mary’s have gone there because of its nice snowy trails and fantastic weather. There is a variety of difficulty you can ski in Beaver Creek. There are green runs, which are the easiest; blues, which are a little harder than greens; Black Diamonds (difficult); double black diamonds (a little harder than a black diamond); and extreme runs for the experts. During my time at Beaver Creek, I skied some greens, blues, a couple of black diamonds, and one double black diamond. If you love black diamonds, I would suggest Spider, a hard black with a steep edge to ski off. All of my ski runs were extremely fun, and the temperature was perfect. Although the snow can be crunchy some days, Beaver Creek finds a way to make every day enjoyable!
