The bags are packed. The house is empty. The plans are set. It's time for a vacation! It starts with one last visit to see my birds, and then we’re off. At about one hour in, it starts to look familiar. We’re almost there, but first, it's time for a lunch break. I normally DESPISE Subway, but it feels different when you know you are so close to getting that vacation. We’re an hour and 30 minutes in, and we have four minutes left until we get to our destination. At last, there it is! I can see the sign. We’ve made it! My parents check in, and the rather kind staff member hands us a map, our room number, and a key card. Of course, we want to unpack first, so we go into our room, unpack, and get ready for a small visit to the pool, and then dinner. I absolutely love a good trip to Legoland.
