When I was 6 years old, my parents sold almost all my toys, except those that could fit in a small bin. We bought a RV and sold pretty much all the rest of our possessions, even our house, and started a massive trip around the USA.
We were very excited, but things did not go that smoothly. Our dog died on the first day out, and ten days later our truck broke down on top of a mountain in Wyoming. and we had to coast all the way down to the campground!
After we got a new truck things started getting better. Over the course of two years we visited 32 states and over 20 national parks. We saw some awesome things, the Grand Canyon, Devils Tower, the Badlands, and Yellowstone. We went to Fort Sumter, where the Civil War started. We went to Bunker Hill in Boston. We also stood in dinosaur tracks in Texas.
Overall, I liked living in the RV. It was really cool seeing all those places and traveling the USA. I think it would be nice to do it again, but not for as long a time.
