The roar of the crowd, the thud when you kick the soccer ball. Swish! The ball hits the back of the net! Don’t you love those sounds? I sure do. Those noises were how the FSU soccer game sounded. My parents surprised me with tickets for my tenth birthday. The drive to Tallahassee felt like an eternity. We spent a couple hours exploring campus and eating snacks, then we picked our seats. I snuck out onto the field and practiced my foot skills. After doing that the camera man said, “I can’t wait to see you playing soccer here”. My dad recorded me doing skills. Finally, the game started. Right off the bat, FSU scored! Around forty minutes later halftime was called. About twenty minutes after half-start, Virginia Tech scored. The score was now 1-1. After a grueling twenty-five minutes no goals were scored. The final whistle blew. Tweet! All the FSU players grabbed their waters and their bags. I asked my favorite player to take a picture with me, she did! All in all, it was a marvelous night.
