Over the week off we received in the month of March, many people chose to get away for vacation to many different locations. Some examples of vacations people took are skiing vacations, beach vacations, international adventures, as well as other travel experiences. According to Miss Roverts' class, 44% hit the slopes and skied everything from greens to double blacks! Another 20% decided the cold wasn’t how they wanted to spend their lovely week off and ventured to beaches in spots such as the Bahamas and the beautiful beaches of Florida. A total of 12% of the class skipped the local travel and went to other countries. For example, in an interview with Arden Burby, she informed me of her remarkable trip to Costa Rica. Weighing in at 24%, many people chose to partake in other enjoyable things such as a trip to Miami, adventures at Dave and Busters, and riding roller coasters at Busch Gardens (all experienced by Caroline Santos). Miss Roverts' class all enjoyed fun activities, with 44% skiing or riding, 24% finding fun in other adventures, 20% finding fun in the sun at the beach, and 12% traveling to foreign countries. As you can see, many over spring break found fun in their travels and other fun activities. Some may agree this was one of the best spring breaks ever!
