Penguins are amazing birds, and they are flightless, but they make up for it with the amazing ability to swim. Penguins can survive in subzero climates, but very few penguins thrive in warm climates. Penguins also have different measurements from 33cm (Little Penguins) to 120cm (Emperor Penguins). That is about 5/6 the size of a fifth grader! Adult penguins travel in colonies while baby penguins travel in creches to stay warm. Speaking of baby penguins, when they are in the embryo or as a baby penguin, they get warm in the father’s brood pouch. Eventually, that baby penguin grows into a fledgling then becomes an adult penguin. To close this like a book, penguins are amazing with a multitude of interesting facts!
