So sit and stay you will need some treats and sometimes, ok so what you want to do first you will need to tell the dog to sit is does not go right up in his face and push him back. So when he is sitting, walk backward and hold the treat in your left hand and with your other hand hold it in a solid hand like you would give a high five. It will take a few tries for him to master it. You just taught him how to sit and stay.
