Maya was a civil rights leader how fought for Social Racial justice. Maya Angelou’s most famous quote is “Do the best you can until you know better; then, when you know better, do better”. My personal favorite poem from Maya Angelou is her “I am a woman, phenomenally, phenomenal woman, that’s me” poem.

Maya Angelou married three times to different people. Those people were Tosh Angelos, Vusumzi L., and Paul de Fe. She only had one son and his name was Guy Johnson. Maya Angelou made a cook book; her cook book came out in 2010.
