Beast boy is better than beast. They're both DC, but only one can have beast in the name. First of all, beast boy can turn into any animal, while beast can only transform into a blue beast. If you ask me who would win in a fight, I think it would be beast boy because he has more varieties to transform into and therefore more combos. More combos means more damage. Beast is strong but he only has one transformation, and beast boy can easily beat him.
