The Daytona race

One Sunday morning at Daytona, my family and I were walking to the Nascar track. We were going to cheer for our favorite drivers. I’m rooting for Kevin Harvick, the nicest driver at Daytona International Speedway.

I was in my seat waiting for the race to start, then the green flagged was waved and they were off and running. The drivers were going very fast, up to 190-200 miles per hour. That is very fast for them.
While, we were still watching the race, Alex Bowman wrecked. He is my second favorite driver. He got up to first place when suddenly, he spun out and wrecked a lot of drivers. It was right next to the finish line so that is how my second driver wrecked with other drivers.
We were still watching the race; on turn one everyone was wrecking except Austin Dillon. He snuck through the whole thing. Everyone was wrecking because it was raining on turn one. Then suddenly it was raining everywhere so we had to get into shelter. They had to stop the race because the drivers couldn't drive in the rain. We had some friends who came along so they left.
After three hours they finally got the race to come back on. The drivers where finishing strong and Austin Dillon won the race! He did a burnout but got stuck. He figured a way out and that was the best day of my life.
