Brrrrhhhh! My mom said. After that, I woke up. But then, I was thinking about what made my mom so cold. I was confused because we live in Florida and it's always super-hot. When I was thinking about it suddenly, I felt really cold, like was in Antartica. So, I opened my eyes and when I looked up, I see I'm laying down on a bed of snow! My mom was next to me shivering. When I sat up, we were surrounded by snow. And I asked her " Why am I out here, why is it snowing?" She said, "Well I looked out the window and saw it was snowing!" "I was so excited and wanted you to experience it too, so I picked you up and brought you out here with me."
I looked at her, then around me in confusion. "Then why are we still out here, you're shivering." I asked. "When I got out here, I sat and enjoyed the snow but then I realized that the snow was getting pretty high and really heavy, so I tried to carry you and go back inside but the snow was already halfway up the door." I tried everything; I couldn't open it" mom said. "Now we're stuck out here" she cried. We were both thinking about anything we could do. Then I remembered that I always slept with my phone beside me or in my hand. So, I checked all around me, then I saw something glowing a few feet away from me. I reached my hand in the snow and went digging and digging until I pulled out my phone!
My mom and I were so happy, but it was rock solid, and cold. I hit the back of it and blew on it for ten minutes straight. Then something amazing happened! Something that my mom and I could've never been happier for, my phone turned on! I called my dad right away, then 911. It was surprising that my dad and the Emergency trucks came at the same time. Thankfully, they pulled us out of the ice with a lot of strength and people. After that I ran to my dad and gave him a big hug. I was squeezing him so tight he was going to pop like a balloon!
Then mom joined in for a group hug, she promised me if it ever snowed in Florida a second time, she would never surprise me again.
