Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the Official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964 and it an Easy sport to play. volleyball, a net, and players! Morgan in 1895, but it did not become an Olympic sport until 1964. A single player may jump as many as 300 times in a volleyball match. The record for most consecutive passes in volleyball is 110, achieved in the United States, in Raleigh, North Carolina, on February 5, 2010. Volleyball is fun to play because everybody gets involved! The game is unique because the same player isn't allowed to hit the ball twice in a row, so everyone takes turns serving, passing, and setting the ball. A team can hit the ball up to three times before they get it over the net.
